Charlotte joined Smart Ease UK as Sales Manager earlier this year and has quickly become a key part of the team thanks to her approachable style, industry knowledge and passion for helping partners make the most of every opportunity. Whether it’s supporting installers with funding solutions, helping unlock larger projects or simply being on hand for advice, Charlotte loves working closely with channel partners and building genuine relationships along the way.

With a background across renewable energy, commercial finance and business energy sales, she understands the pressures businesses face when trying to convert leads and keep projects moving. Before joining Smart Ease, Charlotte specialised in sustainable lending at Anglo Scottish Asset Finance, working closely with businesses across the renewable energy sector and developing a strong understanding of how flexible finance can support growth.

We caught up with Charlotte to learn a little more about life at Smart Ease so far…

What has been the highlight of your time at Smart Ease so far?

The highlight has to be S&S London. It was such a great event to attend so early into my time here. I got to meet so many people across the industry and catch up with some familiar faces too.

What experience did you bring with you to Smart Ease?

Before joining Smart Ease, I specialised in sustainable lending at Anglo Scottish Asset Finance, working closely with businesses across the renewable energy sector. That experience gave me a really good understanding of how flexible finance can help partners increase conversions, unlock larger projects and make the most of every lead.

What gets you out of bed in the morning and excited to come to work?

My colleagues! I’ve only been here since the start of April, but I felt part of the team really quickly. In a smaller business especially, getting along with the people you work with makes such a difference.

What’s your go-to ‘pick me up’ music?

Any dance music!

What’s a personal motto or mantra you live by?

Better to aim high and miss than aim low and hit.

What’s one meal or food you could happily eat for the rest of your life?

Chicken Caesar salad with loads of anchovies!
